Finding providers has never been easier. As extensive as the OneNet PPO network is, it is heavily concentrated in the GABC service
area - the State of Maryland, Commonwealth of Virginia and District
of Columbia. The
Multi-Plan network can only
be accessed by those outside of the GABC service area, as our exclusive
agreement with OneNet PPO, LLC/MAPSI takes precedence. Contact your GABC Customer Service Representative for additional information or for a revised identification card to be used when traveling or for your eligible dependents. Your enrollment under the Graphic Arts Benefit Corporation provides you with immediate access to over 23,000 physicians, acute care facilities and affiliated health care providers such as chiropractic practitioners, home health agencies and mental health professionals. Your Group Benefits Plan materials include the OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI Provider Directory listing health care professionals affiliated as Preferred Providers. What does this mean? In terms of benefits due under your employer's health insurance it may mean lower overall cost to you for needed medical services. And most importantly, you have direct access without primary care physician or gatekeeper referrals. Your group medical coverage encourages you to utilize this resource by increasing the benefit available under the plan. For example, any calendar year deductible, which may otherwise apply, might be waived when you seek medical care from one of these network-affiliated providers. In addition, under contract arrangements with OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI, these professionals agree to discounts on fees which they might otherwise charge for treatment. The discounted fees in turn become the charge upon which benefits are paid. Individuals covered through Graphic Arts Benefit Corporation are not responsible for payment of the discounted amounts. Depending on your plan of coverage, your co-payment or co-insurance responsibility will be significantly reduced when using the OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI network. Review the coverage summary for your employer (to access your individual employer's record you will need your Health plan Identification Card and GABC Company Number). Whatever optional coverage your employer has chosen you can be assured of lower costs to you when you seek medical service through OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI. providers. As if lower costs to you weren't enough incentive, there is an added bonus: elimination of the need for submitting claims! Under their agreements, network providers agree to submit charges directly to OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI for determination of contract discounts and automatically accept assignment of insurance benefits from Graphic Arts Benefit Corporation. Your Health Plan Identification card provides information which is of importance to OneNet PPO, Inc providers. On the reverse side, the group number assigned designates you as a participant through Graphic Arts Benefit Corporation directs your medical care providers submit OneNet PPO, Inc./MAPSI claims to: OneNet

Your medical plan contains provisions, which require that elective hospital admissions be ``pre-certified" or reported within two working days in the event of an emergency admission. A professional medical staff reviews the diagnosis for admission and your treatment plan in making an initial recommendation for length of stay. An alternative medical service providing comperable care may also be recommended. In cases where an inpatient stay is extended, they perform a concurrent review of the continued medical need for acute care. And just as important they coordinate outpatient and follow-up services, which will continue the treatment process at discharge.
